THE KESTER HOMESTEAD’S HARVEST POTLUCK FEAST IS FRIDAY, OCT. 13, 2023 from 5-8:30PM

Join us for another rambling gathering in our large Gambrel Barn where we’ll feast on the season’s bounty potluck style, dance to live music, sit around a crackling bonfire and relish in all of Autumn’s beauty together!

HERE ARE THE DETAILS:

• Join us on Friday, October 13th at The Kester Homestead (5606 Kester Rd. Memphis NY) from 5-8:30 pm

• Bring a potluck dish to pass (if your meal can serve 10-20 guests or so we will have more than enough!). The idea of The Harvest Potluck is to bring the community together and support our amazing local Upstate NY farms. Please support local farmers by purchasing LCOAL AND SEASONAL ingredients for your dish from a local farm stand, farmers market or pluck from your own patch! If you’re bringing in meat to share, please follow the same ethos and support your local farmers

• If you have dietary restrictions or preferences (such as vegan, GF, etc) please bring a course that you yourself can eat, and label it so others can also partake.

• Event is BYOB - feel free to keep what you’re drinking at your seat - or better yet, pitch it into our Community Bar and everyone can share!

• There will be live music so feel free to dance!

• Kiddos are more than welcome

• There is a grass field for parking

• The event will take place at the barn and in the back Wild Garden, so it is rain or shine. (The house and rest of the grounds aren’t open for this event as we’re doing some maintenance and repairs… plus we want to keep the party together!)

• These suppers are free but ticketed - we ask that you check out your seat(s) so we can set the proper number of chairs. We cap the event at 150 guests so reserve your seat early! There will be a tip bucket at the bar which will be divided amongst the venue, to tip out our team and to help offset some expenses incurred to pull this beautiful evening together!
