When you book with The Kester Homestead, our goal is to make sure you have all of the basic needs covered without an extensive list of hidden added fees, pricey rentals, or phantom expenses that can send your wedding budget out the window. Our goal is transparency to help you plan.

Included in our packages is everything you need - and the only add-ons we require are our Right Hand Package and Gratuity — and we do have some additional offerings if you’d like to indulge.

Most popular amongst our bookings is our in-house Flower Packages. The majority of our guests book us for this service and we are always honored to create florals for your special day. Additionally, many couples like to extend their stay with our discounted nightly rate, adding on a Thursday and/or Monday is a wonderful way to truly sink into the weekend with rest and relaxation.

Many guests opt for a simply DIY rehearsal on site but others book us for a separate event Fieldstone Barn, so please use the drop downs to learn more and reach out if you have questions.

  • If you book the house for a full weekend, you have two overnight stays (Friday- Sunday) included in your package. Many times our couples would like to extend their time before and/or after their event to soak in the magic of the weekend and allow time before and after the gathering to rest, reflect and continue the celebration.

    This pricing discount is only available for The Kester Homestead couples who are already booked for their wedding at the full weekend pricing.

    — $650 per additional night

  • An ideal feature of booking the entire weekend package is having your closest people surrounding you for the duration of the stay. Some couples wish to host a very intimate rehearsal dinner in the house, backyard, or poolside for their overnight guests - but others wish to have a seated and catered meal. We can open our Fieldstone Barn for a Rehearsal Dinner of up to 40 guests.

    A simple DIY Rehearsal Dinner for a small gathering at The 1854 House incurs no extra fees with all Full Weekend bookings, but we do not allow tents or rentals brought onto the house grounds.

    Included in the Fieldstone Rehearsal offering …

    • Available for a 4 hour window

    • Wooden folding tables with metal tolix chairs for your guests staged and set-up in advance (ideal for up 30-40 guests)

    • Use of our plates, flatware and copper cups (can be styled in advance by our team if you’d like).

    • Access to our lower level restrooms and catering prep kitchen

    • Team Representative on-site

    A few things to remember …

    • You are welcome to bring in your own catering, flowers, or other decor

    • We don’t allow staked tents or table rentals in the backyard because we want to keep the aesthetics high for your wedding and keep the confusion minimal

    • Just like our wedding policy, our plates, flatware, and copper cups are to be returned clean by your caterer, booked team or a cleaning fee applies

    • A small trash removal fee of $250 applies for your small gathering if your caterer is not able to handle removal

    This option is always available to guests booking a Full Weekend Wedding package, but may not be available for Venue Day Rental couples.

    — $1,550 for Rehearsal Dinner in Fieldstone Barn

  • Some couples wish to host a farewell gathering in the house, backyard, or poolside for their overnight guests - but others wish to have a seated and catered brunch. We can open our Fieldstone Barn for up to 30-40 guests.

    As this type of gathering will bring us past the check-out time of our Full Wedding Weekend couples, this is subject to availability.

    A simple DIY Farewell Brunch at The 1854 House incurs no extra fees with all Full Weekend bookings, but you must adhere to check-out guidelines. You can book extra hours at the house can add-on use of the Fieldstone Barn if needed.

    Included in the Fieldstone Farewell Brunch offering …

    • Available for a 4 hour window
