INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS
The Guest must provide the Company with a Certificate of Insurance that includes the following: (a) General Liability including Bodily Injury and Property Damage (from a carrier that is licensed and admitted in the State of New York, and rated A or better by AM Best) in the amount of $2,000,000; and (b) the policy must name The Kester Homestead, LLC as an additional insured for the time period of the License. Failure to provide proof of insurance as set forth above may result in the cancellation of Guest’s gathering.
All caterers and bartenders must have all appropriate licensure, insurances and permits. No alcohol is permitted to be served to any underage guests or visibly intoxicated persons.
01. additional insured
Please notify your Caterer/Bartender to add THE KESTER HOMESTEAD, LLC and THE LOCAL BRANCH MERCANTILE, LLC as an additional insured for liquor liability on their insurance policy. This should come at no extra cost to you or them. Please give them enough advance notice as we require proof of this submitted to us at least 1-2 weeks before your event.
02. event insurance
To be sure you are covered, we require that you secure Day of/Weekend Insurance to cover the full duration of your stay. There are many companies that offer this — here are two options (but feel free to shop around!)
